Optellum research highlighted at the IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer

The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) hosted its annual conference in Vienna, Austria and the Optellum team were glad to be amongst attendees and exhibitors,
highlighting the importance of innovation to prevent and treat the spread of lung cancer and
improve patient care.

As well as forming new clinical connections and hosting demos of Optellum’s Virtual Nodule Clinic
(VNC) and Lung Cancer Prediction AI (LCP) at our booth, IASLC 2022 also provided the opportunity for members of the team to meet with valued clinicians from our existing European partnerships.

We met with partners including clinical collaborator Marjolein Heuvelmans, Optellum Medical Advisory Board Member Professor Sam Janes, IASLC conference chair Eric Lim, Dr Christine Berg, co-principal investigator of the NLST.

Members of our scientific teams attended a variety of clinical talks and found there was considerable interest in AI with Optellum LCP – which was mentioned in a number of presentations, including the AI plenary session (AI in Radiology) from Fergus Gleeson.
