Pulmonary advances and clinical collaborations at CHEST 2022

In October 2022, the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) held its Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Optellum team was there to exhibit our innovative technology and attend talks about the latest advances in pulmonary medicine.

There were many talks on exciting topics, including updates on lung cancer screening, lung cancer biomarkers, management of sub-solid pulmonary nodules, and the emerging field of local and intra-tumoral therapies.

In addition to the scientific program, the exhibition hall was an excellent opportunity to see the latest in pulmonary technology. Optellum’s booth was a popular spot, with clinicians and researchers stopping by to learn more about our technology.

We met with our partners, both clinical and industrial, to discuss Optellum’s ongoing and future clinical research programs, including Dr. Anil Vachani from the University of Pennsylvania, who is a longstanding Optellum collaborator and author of the independent study that underpins our FDA clearance. We also met with existing partners including Dr. Michal Senitko from University of Mississippi Medical Center (pictured below).

It was a great conference and we enjoyed meeting with clinicians from around the world. We are looking forward to next year’s meeting in Hawai’i!
