WABIP comes to Europe to showcase the best in lung health

Members of the Optellum team gathered in Marseille, alongside clinicians and innovators specialising in lung health, to attend the 22nd WCBIP/WCBE World Congress organised by the World Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP).

Professor Lutz Freitag MD, Optellum’s Chief Medical Officer, gave an engaging presentation: ‘Semi-Rigid bronchoscopy for stenting: a new tool’ during the conference’s ‘future of airway stenting’ scientific program.

Over the four days, the team engaged in valuable discussions with clinicians (particularly, interventional pulmonologists) and demonstrated Optellum’s Virtual Nodule Clinic (VNC) platform with integrated AI Lung Cancer Prediction (LCP) capabilities.

Optellum received many congratulations on the close of the series A funding round and the announcement of new investors. In addition, there was further positive wishes and enquiries surrounding the CMS recently assigned CPT code for the use of Optellum’s LCP score.

We look ahead to a busy end to the year with more exciting conferences and events coming up in the coming months, including CHEST in Nashville, STSA in Fort Lauderdale and RSNA in Chicago.
